New York Elevator: A 71-Year-Old Texan Gets the Last Word

A young, glamorous woman got in, trailing expensive perfume. She turned to Rose and said arrogantly:
— “Romance” by Ralph Lauren, $200 a bottle!
Then she looked Rose up and down and added:
— But maybe you can’t afford it.

A few floors later, another young woman entered. The first woman smiled and asked:
— Wow, I adore that fragrance! What is it?
The second woman replied:
— Chanel No. 5, $350 a bottle!

The first woman gave Rose a patronizing glance and said:
— I’ll remember to buy some. This old woman probably won’t remember, though. I bet she’s already forgotten the perfume name.

Three floors later, Rose reached her stop. Before she stepped out, she looked both women in the eye, bent over, and fart$.
— Broccoli – 2 dollars a pound!
