Looking ahead, he saw a woman playing by herself. He walked over, explained his confusion, and asked if she knew where he was.
— I’m on the 7th hole, and you are one hole behind me, so you must be on the 6th hole.

He thanked her and went back to his game.
On the back nine, the same thing happened. He found her again and asked the same question.
— I’m on the 14th hole, and you are one hole behind me, so you must be on the 13th hole.
Once again, he thanked her and finished his round.
Later, in the clubhouse, he spotted the same woman sitting at the end of the bar. The bartender mentioned that she was in sales and played the course often.
The man walked over and said:

— Let me buy you a dr!nk to thank you for your help. I hear you’re in sales. I’m in sales too. What do you sell?
She smiled.
— If I tell you, you’ll laugh.
— No, I won’t.
— Well, if you must know, I work for Tampax.
